| Long description | My client is a privately owned financial information company dedicated to the global infrastructure market covering both greenfield and brownfield transactions. They provide real-time business and market intelligence, enabling individuals and companies working in infrastructure finance to gain a competitive business advantage. They are the leading provider of information to the sector with over 500 corporate subscribers including many of the world's leading developers, institutional investors, private equity funds, banks, developers, law firms, accountancy firms and insurers. The Reports and Analysis Editor is responsible for overseeing the creation of regular market, country and sector reports covering the global infrastructure finance market. Much of the data for these reports will come from the online database of infrastructure deals and infrastructure asset owners. Managing a team of two data analysts, and working closely with the editorial team, you will be expected to combine our own data, with other market intelligence and interviews to provide incisive analysis and trend information for each report. Your key duties will include: writing regular market and sector reports for publication, managing the delivery of all reports for publication, including editing the data analysts work, ensuring both you, and the team, maintain regular contact with the infrastructure community by telephone and email communications, identifying new data sources and data requirements and managing the acquisition of data for league tables. You should have a strong track record in editing, report writing or market analysis, preferably in financial markets. You will have strong people management skills, and the ability to build relationships with senior executives in the infrastructure industry. A good strategic thinker, you will be able to quickly grasp the infrastructure finance market and assess its data and information requirements. |
